Michelle Edmunds

Michelle Edmunds is the Managing Director of CPR Communications & Public Relations, a firm specialising in issues management, media engagement and government relations. As head of the crisis communications practice, Michelle has supported clients during a wide range of critical incidents, including staff underpayments, Royal Commissions, historical abuse allegations, and fraud. She has a special interest in education matters, having started her career as a News Ltd journalist covering industrial relations and education. With 20 years’ experience as a communications consultant, Michelle has also led high-profile media campaigns for government, statutory authorities, not-for-profits and the private sector. From commissioning research through to messaging, branding, media strategy and stakeholder engagement, Michelle works with clients to develop and implement effective communications strategies. She also provides media training for executive teams, including issues-specific training on matters likely to attract public and media scrutiny.
